The madrasa app shows today's Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha for the place the phone is in, with sunrise, a countdown to the next prayer and a Qibla compass. The times are worked out on the phone, so they still show without an internet connection.
Each country gets the calculation method its masjids follow: the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi with the Hanafi Asr in India and Pakistan, Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, Qatar's own method in Qatar, and so on. Anyone can switch the method or the Asr time if their masjid follows another.
- Next prayer and countdown on every dashboard
- Hanafi or Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali Asr
- Qibla direction from North, with a live compass
- For admins, teachers, students and parents
